The cookie banner stores your choice in this browser’s localStorage, not in a cookie. If you allow the functional category, FAQ answer feedback is stored there too; without that permission the vote is announced to the page but not saved. Nothing in this storage is sent to a server.
Analytics
No analytics or advertising service is active on this site. The preferences sheet includes an analytics category reserved for a future service; it is off by default and currently loads no script. If a provider is added, this section will name it, the data collected and the retention period.
Controlling your choice
The “Cookie settings” link in the footer reopens the preferences sheet at any time when JavaScript is enabled; without it, clear this site’s data in your browser, which removes the stored choice and the FAQ feedback. A change applies immediately to scripts that have not loaded yet; a script already running stops only on the next page load.
